| 1. To remove oil картер (subsection 3.1.2.13 subitem 1-5 see). |
| 2. To turn away bolts of fastening and to remove the oil pump with маслоприемником. |
| 3. To turn away two bolts and to uncover the pump. |
| 4. To take out a shaft of a drive and a leading gear wheel of the pump. |
| 5. To remove маслоприемник and to take out the mesh filter. |
| 6. To wash out all details of the pump in gasoline. |

| 7. To check up a backlash between teeths of gear wheels, as is shown in drawing at the left. The nominal backlash is equal 0,05 mm, maximum permissible – 0,2 mm. To check up a backlash between a gear wheel and the pump case, it should be equal 0,15 mm. To check up an axial backlash of gear wheels, as is shown in drawing on the right. It should be no more than 0,15 mm. |
| 8. After replacement of defective details to grease all details of the pump with engine oil. |
| 9. To collect and establish the pump upside-down. |
