7.4.1.7. Selection of a thickness of adjusting rings of back bearings
THE GENERAL DATA

The scheme of selection of adjusting rings at installation of back bearings of primary and secondary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To measure distance and from привалочной planes картера transmissions to a back end face of an external ring of the back bearing of a primary shaft.
2. To measure distance b from привалочной planes картера transmissions to a back end face of an external ring of the back bearing of a secondary shaft.
3. To measure distance c from привалочной planes of a cover to an end face of a nest of the back bearing of a secondary shaft.
4. To measure distance d from привалочной planes of a cover to an end face of a nest of the back bearing of a primary shaft.
5. For maintenance of a pretightness of bearings of 0,1 mm to calculate a thickness of adjusting rings under formulas:
    – For the bearing of a primary shaft:
S1 = d – a + T – 0,1,
Where T – the thickness of a lining equal of 0,4 mm;
    – For the bearing of a secondary shaft:
S2 = c – b + T – 0,1,
Where T – the thickness of a lining equal of 0,4 mm.
6. To pick up adjusting rings in the thickness equal S1 and S2. In spare parts adjusting washers 1,53 are delivered in the thickness; 1,58; 1,63 and 1,68 mm for the back bearing of a primary shaft and thickness from 0,15 to 1,40 mm with an interval through each 0,5 mm for the back bearing of a secondary shaft.
